Amboseli Safari

Hello friends! Happy 2012!

We spent our New Year's weekend on safari at Amboseli game park in southern Kenya! We saw lots of beautiful animals, especially elephants. Amboseli has one of the largest elephant populations in the country, with around 1200! Sometimes we saw groups as large as 40 or 50 at one time! We also saw lions, zebra, gazelles, hyena, and even a giraffe walking along the side of the road outside the park on our way home. We also were blessed with some beautiful sights of Mount Kilimanjaro, just over the border in Tanzania. Our trips there and back were a bit of an adventure: we blew a tire, ran out of diesel, and got delayed at the park gate for nearly an hour. But that is just Kenya for you, and it was well worth it!

Thank you for your continued prayers! We can feel them carrying us over these crazy Kenyan roads and through daily challenges.
Lots of love,
The Brays
